Rorschach Posted 2008年2月8日 13:33 分享 Posted 2008年2月8日 13:33 当微软收购雅虎的消息轰轰烈烈的时候，美国在线（AOL）将宣布收购圣迭戈的Goowy，这是一家2004年末成立的新创公司。此次交易的数额还不清楚。 Goowy的第一个产品是基于Flash的web桌面或称为web-OS，后来开发了YourMinis产品。进军桌面小工具（widget）领域这是此次美国在线收购的原因。 AOL的David Liu表示，经过八个月的考虑，才决定进行该交易。美国在线将对Goowy的技术进行整合，使AOL的产品以及Platform A广告平台进入桌面Widget。他说，期望Platform A能在桌面Widget领域推出重大的广告产品。 对于Goowy创始人和CEO——Alex Bard，这是一个胜利。过去的时间里，Goowy一直艰难运营，只有六个员工，仅获得过一次融资。 达拉斯小牛队的老板马克•库班在2006年4月进行了投资，数目没有透露，但肯定要低于100万美元。Alex Bard说，短期内Goowy还将继续在圣迭戈。 在widget领域，Goowy面临的对手还有同样为新创公司的Widgetbox，ClearSpring，Gigya，VideoEgg，Slide和RockYou。 美国在线最近不断收购有前途的新创公司，其在去年11月收购了以色列的Yedda。 引用 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
