Follow the career of Sergei, the American-born son of a Russian immigrant family, as he first joins the RAF as a Spitfire pilot and later enlists in the US Army Air Force, trains to be a bomber pilot in Oklahoma, and reports for duty in as a B-17 pilot in Alaska. His adventures take him to hotspots across the globe. After briefly serving as a test pilot for radical new aircraft designs, he returns to combat as a B-29 pilot when Japan refuses to surrender following the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bomb drops. My source says that there will be some new maps (the Solomons?), at least one flyable torpedo bomber, a famous aiarcraft carrier, and the P-55 Ascender.
