在《Computer Gaming World》近期的采访文章中，Valve 透露了不少《Half Life》系列游戏开发细节，其中有不少涉及到微软下一代操作系统 Windows Vista 以及下一代游戏主机 Xbox 360 。

据称，EA 也将采取 Valve 的零售/售后服务方式，加入 Steam 软体内容发布系统。与此同时，Valve 总裁还表示，Windows Vista 对于视频游戏开发没有任何裨益，而 Xbox 360 “痛楚” 更多－－开发者无法 “指望有一块硬盘” 。
