installation instructions

from binary distribution:

- unpack jake2-version.tar.gz or jake2-version.zip

- copy the baseq2 directory from your full version of Quake2 or from the

demo version to the Jake2 base directory

- run the game with Jake2.sh or Jake2.bat

渲染器：

1. 6种自由度(估计是各种等级，如模型精度)， 多相机和多视域

2. 支持DirectX 8.1 ,DirectPlay, DirectShow, DirectSound

3. 自动选择基于自主(应该就是引擎本身的)和基于硬件的顶点变换和光照变换(T&l) ，以在新的和旧的3D硬件上达到最佳效果

4. Window or fullscreen mode, 最高分辨率1920x1200

5. BSP(二叉树)/PVS(最大可视集), Portal(入口) and frustrum(不清楚)裁减，均为场景管理

6. LOD(层级技术,根据物体距视点距离显示不同精度模型） and trilinear map mapping(不懂)

7. 静态和动态点光源，聚光灯，直射光

8. 静态和动态阴影

9. 颜色雾区域(应该是像素雾吧)

10. 入口（见5），反射（效果就和镜子一样）

不错不错 支持啊 不过可以试试，正在学习用呢
